INGREDIENTS (4 PEOPLE)
400 g asparagus (without the stem)
6 to 8 slices of bacon
Olive oil
Salt
Ground pepper |
ASPARAGUS KEBABS
A very simple recipe, but always successful as an appetizer Asparagus with bacon (or ham) are an excellent combination of flavors.
PREPARATION:
ASPARAGUS: Cut the asparagus in 2 or 3 parts and parboil them in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes. Drain well, let cool and season with olive oil, salt and pepper.
BACON: Cut the bacon slices in half, roll each part on a piece of asparagus and place on a skewer. If they are wood leave them soaking in water 20/30 minutes in order not to burn.
GRILL: Grill the kebabs in medium fire on both side until the bacon becomes crispy and serve hot.

Try substituting the bacon by slices of ham.
